ARRIVEDERCI REMO’S NELSON MANDELA SQUARE
The Sandton Times reported on REMO’S LIBERTÀ OPENS IN NELSON MANDELA SQUARE and less than a year later, the much loved Italian eatery has closed its doors.
Sandton’s leading blog had heard rumours that the store was closing down a few weeks ago and received the following confirmation last week from Remo’s management:
“The Rembrothers Group has made a commercial decision to close the store and pursue other exciting opportunities and projects.”
The restaurant had recently refreshed its menu bringing some delicious new offerings to its Nelson Mandela inspired store. Rooted in traditional Italian ideals, Remo’s was born out of a passion for authentic, upmarket, European-inspired food.
It is not quite clear yet, who will occupy the prime space left on Nelson Mandela Square. Those still wanting their taste of Remo’s will still be able to visit Remo’s Maximilliano, at Waterfall Corner with a Pretoria branch launching this month.
