MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON VUZU
The 66th Miss Universe pageant will be screened live on Vuzu (DStv Channel 116) from 5am (SAST) on Monday, November 27.
There will be repeats on Tuesday, November 28, at 8pm and Saturday, December 2, at 3pm. South Africans are encouraged to vote for Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters ahead of the Miss Universe pageant which takes place at The Axis in Las Vegas on Sunday, November 26. Pre-voting is open now until November 25, the day before the Miss Universe pageant. There will also be a vote, during the live broadcast, for each round of the competition. The voting windows will happen during the actual competition so fans need to be ready to cast their ballot. Twenty-two-year-old Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, a B.Comm graduate, believes she is fully prepared for Miss Universe.

Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters’ national costume has been designed by Malikah Hajee and Lloyd Kandlin and their team at The Costume Department while Anel Botha has designed a number of outfits including the finale gown.
